College & Career ministries

Grow in christ

First & third Fridays at 7:00 p.m. we will take a look at the anxiety that we are facing in today’s world as young adult believers, and what the Bible has to tell us about it. In the coming weeks we will be looking through the Scriptures to see what God’s Word says about other challenges we are facing. This study will be topical based on these challenges and allow us to discuss them with each other and encourage one another in these areas. (i.e.: having intentional relationships with family/friends, anxiety, pornography, politics, substance use and abuse, and other sins we are struggling with). If you did not make the first study, you are still more than welcome to join in on the next meeting. This study is focused for young adults ages 18-28, but is open to all young adults. This study meets at the Grant home, please contact the Church Office for the address at 603-595-0955.

Second and fourth Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Chestnut Center (528 Boston Post Rd), we will be continuing in our evangelism study with the Way of the Master by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort. While this study will be focused towards those ages 28+, it is open to all young adults. Please bring a snack or beverage to share.

Serve christ

**New** Nursery & Children's Sunday School

Sunday mornings.

Nursery and Children's Sunday School are two of our most precious ministries here at MVBC!  Several of our teachers/volunteers will be having children in the next couple months or are moving and we need your help.  If you are able to edify the body and serve the Lord so these new moms and dads are able to attend the worship services and/or Sunday School, please contact Pastor Jeff or June Richmond (for nursery).

AWANA & Teen Group

Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

AWANA is a children's program focusing on discipleship and Scripture memorization and is in need of male helpers to work with the boys.  If you would like to serve, or for more information please contact Mike Volante.

The Teen's Ministry is also in need of female helpers to help lead Teen Small Groups.  If you would like to help with the Teen's Ministry, or for more information, please contact Pastor Landon.

Both of these ministries need mature Believers to help disciple and lead.  Please prayerfully consider serving in one of these two ministries.  If you have not taken the Child Safety Training in the past three years, please also contact Felicia DiTullio for access to the training program (takes about an hour).

Nursing Home Ministry

Second Sunday of each month

Please join us the second Sunday of each month for a time of praise through music, short Bible study, and prayer from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Plan to meet at the Elms Nursing home just before 1:30 p.m. Several members will typically gather for lunch between the second service and the service at the Elms.  For more information please contact us.

Upward Basketball

Saturdays, January-March

Upward Basketball is a league for boys and girls K5-grade 8, providing a fun environment build around healthy competition for kids, teaching skills for sports and values for life.  We need volunteers to serve as coaches, assistant coaches, score keepers, and concessionaires.  Games are on Saturdays and practices are one night per week for older players.  For more information, or to serve, please contact Dale Walker
