Monday Evenings - A Woman of Healthy Relationships: Sisters, Mothers, Daughters, Friends Dee Brestin

“How good and how pleasant when brethren dwell together in unity” (Psalm 133:1).Healthy relationships don’t just happen, but God gives us great wisdom that, if applied, can give us the kind of relationships for which our hearts long. Join us as we spend nine weeks learning from Biblical narratives and Gospel teaching practical principles for our most important relationships: parents, children, siblings, spouse, friends, etc. As we grow in our relationship with God, He provides hope and healing for our fractured relationships.

This study meets every other Monday evening in the Library at MVBC from 7:00 p.m.—8:30 p.m., September 9—December 2. The cost for the study is $10. For more information, please contact Wendy Cote at (603) 732-2113 (cell) or keith.cote@aol.com.

Tuesday MorningsLive Deeply: A Study of the Parables of Jesus by Lenya Heitzig & Penny Rose

Join us as we study Jesus’ parables, the stories He told His followers in order to encourage, rebuke, and personally challenge them. We will use the inductive Bible study method along with commentary to understand the original setting and audience of these stories. We’ll then dig in and find the highly relevant and universal truths Jesus taught His disciples and desires us to learn today.

This study meets every Tuesday morning in the Multipurpose Room at MVBC from 9:15 a.m.—11:15 a.m., September 17-December 3. Children K5 and under are welcome to join us in the Nursery every Tuesday. A “child-sized” portion of the lesson will be taught to our preschoolers, as well as enjoyable songs, games, and activities. The cost for the study is $10. For more information, please contact Lisa Volante at (603) 231-1300 (cell) or lisa.volante@mvbc.org.
